Too fat for the gym

Ugh.

Ok, so Friday morning was fantastic. A friend and I went out of sushi for lunch. Delish. Then after we went to Second Cup for coffee. I ordered a chai latte. The barista asked if I have ever had a dirty chair latte. I hadn't. I inquired further. It is a chai latte with a shot of espresso in it. Holy yum! It isn't on the regular menu however she suggests it to people and very few go for it. I like espresso. And I like chai lattes. Smash the two together and it was a liquid heaven in my cup. As we were leaving to go find seats she wished us a "Dirty Day"! It was great.

As we were sitting in the comfy chairs chatting my friend was knocked in the head by a ballot box that had blown off the ledge (it was sitting by an open window) - the ballot box was to win free gym time at NuBodys. She put a slip in. I put a slip in.

We both got a call today saying we had won. Whoohoo.....free gym time! Its a gym downtown, which is a pain, but hey...we won.

Wait a minute......a gym. I don't do gyms. Gyms are full of itty bitties in designer workout outfits, people who can walk up a flight (hell, can walk up 8 flights) of stairs and not get winded. Downtown gyms aren't full of fat people who get winded just walking through the front doors.

Ok ok, I know everyone has to start somewhere. But I don't know about a gym. I don't know that I'd feel comfortable enough to sweat it out with the skinnies (I say this as I just inhaled 3 cookies I didn't really need).

Blah. She's excited because "we can workout together!". I dunno. I just don't know.

Too wide for your narrow mind

I am not just a fat girl. Please do not judge me as so.

I am these things and so much more. Do not slap me with the "fat girl" label as that lable only merely describes my physical appearance. There is much more to me than wobbley thighs and jiggley belly.
