You don't have to drink 8 glasses of water a day

Yay! You have no idea how happy this makes me!

I don't drink that much water. I can't drink that much water. I drink what I can, but its not "enough" by the standards most of us have been taught.

Infact, there are only 3 health rules that have been tried, tested and true:

-Don't Smoke
-Practice Safe Sex
-Wear Seatbelts

There are other rules that have far more wiggle room than previously thought.

Many people believe that exercise only counts if you can do it for an hour. But what about those days you only have a half hour to get in some exercise? Does that exercise not count? Or do you just not do it? That half hour is far better than not doing anything at all.

Most of us want to be "pretty healthy" not crazyridiculousicanteatthat healthy. All these previously thought to be ridgid rules have some wiggle room. So don't stress yourself out if you don't get those 8 glasses of water or can "only" get in a 20min walk. Do what you can. As long as you are doing something that is far better than doing nothing at all!
